Hope is like a sky full of stars...whether we see them or not doesn't change the fact that they are always there. Truly, it is not until the night is at its very darkest... that we see them shine the most clearly.~ Kim Meeder ~ A Bridge Called Hope

I went to Niagara Falls, Ontario for a long weekend for my niece's wedding. I think I will let the pics do most of the talking...

This was in Ripley's Believe It or Not

Kalynn (Wife of the Bestman) & I  had such fun in this tunnel. The silver stuff had colored bits of something in it and was spinning around. As soon as you stepped into the tunnel, it felt like the walkway was tilting. When we came out of the tunnel we were staggering all over the place! Quite hilarious and we had a blast!

Till next time...

So... I've been informed numerous times that it might be past time to update. I decided since I was going to be even busier for the next couple of weeks maybe now would be a good time.  Work is busy which is good... and even better news is that I AM LEARNING TO DELEGATE! I have a tremendously difficult time doing that but it's actually a pretty good feeling when I DO delegate! SURPRISE  I'm into so many different things at work these days that I don't really know anymore what exactly my job is all about. I guess the bottom line is... Keep everybody happy  I try!! Right now I'm working on getting eveything set for the Company Christmas Banquet. We have over 200 hundred people attending this year so it's a little different then the days when we only had 50-ish or so. It's been a while! I enjoy it though, for the most part. I just have to convince myself that it's OK if not everything else gets done.  We are also at the start  of Widow's Banquet season so that's enough to mostly keep me out of trouble. For those of you who are not familiar with this event, events actually, to be more accurate, we (The Founders and Group of Volunteers) go to different communities and do a meal, some singing, and gifts for Widows in the area. It's a tremendously Blessing experience. Some of the Ladies find it so hard to believe that somebody would do something like that for them. It's out way of spreading a bit of God's Love around. This year we are doing 6 Widows Banquets plus 1 Widowers & Bachelors Supper. That's three new ones this year from last year. It's pretty amazing to think that 6 years ago when we started doing this we had about 15 Ladies. This year it looks like there will be 400 - 500 in total. Just blows me away! So that will be keeping me hopping for the next two weeks. Yes, all 7 Banquets are in 15 days plus I have the Company Banquet as well in the same 15 days.   Then about 5 days after the last Banquet I fly to Ontario for my niece's wedding. That gives me 4 days there to do the Wedding thing and also hopefully meet up with a couple friends that live there. I get home the evening of December 23rd. We have our Family Get-together on the 25th and then I might have a few days to relax! Busy yes, but it should also be a lot of fun! We have a very fun group of people that do the Banquets so it's good times! Right, folks??  Maybe at some point after this is all over I shall update again....

For now... I hope you all have a very Wonderful & Blessed Christmas!!

Seeing as I'm not in any particular hurry to go anywhere just yet I thought I'd share a few thoughts...

Been doing some 'research' online for a friend of mine... Always a fun time! Especially when we actually do the 'research' together!  Haven't quite found what I, should I say we, were looking for. And seeing as we're not in the same building anymore and I needed some more info... I'm very sweetly waiting for a reply so I can continue...

Does anyone else ever wonder what your life would be like if it was different?? If you had made different choices along the way... Maybe done some things differently... Or maybe even a lot of things... Have I maybe spent too much time thinking lately?? Is there such a thing? My brain's been whirling all over the place and leaving me with more questions than answers, seems like  Guess that's just the way it goes sometimes... I have been told soul-searching now and again is good for the soul...

Isn't it interesting how sometimes the people you think you don't get along with the greatest can actually be a lot of fun when you do actually spend time together? Happened to me recently...

What do you do when someone keeps talking in riddles every time you happen to be in the vicinity??  Can be slightly confusing at times...

I just decided now would be a good time to go home...

Random Thoughts & Quotes

I've had many thoughts on various topics running through my brain the last while. Not that you would want to know what they all are, right??  Some have been exciting, some enlightening, some confusing, some delighting, some sad, and a some even made me mad. Some brought Joy, some brought tears... I asked Why? I said I don't need to know why... How can I fix this? God's in control and I don't need to fix this... Matter of fact I really can't do anything about it... I've been feeling for people that seem to be so alone and lonely, even though they might try to hide it... WHat can I do to bring some joy to their lives? I would like to make a difference, but I can only do so much... I feel like I'm feeling so much more then I did for too long... More joy but also capable of more heartache... Is the flying worth the thud at the end?? Definitely! 'Cause...

Tis better to have Loved and lost then never to have Loved at all... (Yep!)

Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to truly live... (Amen!)

Happiness is where we find it, but rarely where we seek it... (So true!)

No one who puts their hope in God ever loses the last round... (That's the truth!)

What we see depends mainly on what we look for... (Absolutely)

We will be remembered for what we give, not what we get... (Need to remember this one more!)

The heart does things for reasons that reason cannot understand... (??? Seems like it!)

SO that's a few of my random thoughts, etc... Hope you all have an incredible week! Keep your chin up!!

Howdy!!!

I don't have a lot to say but I will say that last weekend was quite the experience!

Saturday Report (short version)...

Strange city (Sort of) , mostly strange people , a very warm welcome , and a whole lot of fun!!   Many incredibly interesting sights to behold and all that!!!  Oh, and I also had a very fun 'Partner in Crime' so to speak!  The Rodeo was pretty incredible as well, EH, Jo???? Then a stop at the ER so we could cheer everybody up before the Dr checked out Jo's eye.  Then I realized the light switch on my car wasn't working properly so I had to hold the switch in all the way home. This was going on midnight so I kinda needed light. That did make the ride home seem a bit longer. Then again eventually I got used to doing the switch thing and we were yapping so it wasn't all that bad!

Sunday Report...

I went to my cousin's 50th Anniversary Party. I was rather amazed that I actually recognized about 50% - 75% of the people there. I got to see some people I hadn't seem in years so that was interesting.

And now... I need to get back to work soooo.... That's all Folks!!

Have an Incredible Day!!!!!!
